Like most associates at big law firms, all of John G. George Jr.’s waking hours are consumed with how best to serve his firm’s clients. But when he’s not doing that, George dreams of dirt—specifically the kind that’s kicked up in the high-flying world of amateur Motocross racing.

“I grew up racing and started when I was 8 years old. I raced for 10 years and got out of it to go to college and law school,” said George, an associate in the San Antonio office of Beirne, Maynard & Parsons, who collected numerous state and national championships before starting practicing law.
