Expect a $500 million final judgment against defendants in Energy Transfer Partners v. Enterprise Product Partners, the Dallas court case that led to an eye-popping $319 million in damages jury verdict last March, most likely issued by the judge in the next week, according to a lawyer familiar with the case. That final judgment would likely include, in addition to the damages, nearly $200 million for disgorgement of benefits against the defendants.

With that outcome imminent, no surprise that both sides have already assembled teams for expected appeals.
