With the energy business booming and oil and gas lawyers in demand in Texas, the State Bar of Texas’ Oil, Gas and Energy Resources Law Section isn’t what it used to be.
It’s larger and more diverse, said David Patton, a partner in Locke Lord in Houston, who was elected chair of the section at the bar’s annual meeting in June.
