Looper Ballew, the Houston firm Donald Looper formed after he left Looper Reed & McGraw at the end of 2013, will open an office in New Orleans on Sept. 25 with four lawyers from New Orleans firm Slattery, Marino & Roberts.

Once Paul J. Goodwine, who has been a shareholder in Slattery Marino, moves to Looper’s firm, it will be known as Looper Goodwine & Ballew. Goodwine will join as a shareholder on Sept. 25, and Holly Occhipinti Thompson, Taylor Mouledoux and Addie Danos Arvidson will join as associates in New Orleans.
