The public got a proverbial peek into the Texas Supreme Court’s inner workings earlier this month in Austin.
Seven of the high court’s nine justices answered questions on Sept. 20 at the Texas Tribune Festival about how they pick cases for review, what happens when a justice dissents, how amicus briefs affect them and what might happen to lawyers if the Legislature were to abolish the State Bar of Texas.
