Robert S. Bennett of Houston, who is trying to regain the Texas law license he lost in March, now has one less legal complication to worry about.

On Sept. 25, The Bennett Law Firm of Houston filed a non-suit in a lawsuit it filed in July against Bennett, the firm’s founder, and three firms he managed, alleging they diverted funds away from The Bennett Law Firm. The defendants denied the allegations.
