When John Bickel sat down at his desk for the first time at Fish & Richardson, it was officially the end of an era in Dallas civil litigation. It meant the “Rambo Boys” were really broken up.

Bickel, who founded Bickel & Brewer 30 years ago with William A. Brewer III, earned the “Rambo” moniker with his former law partner after articles about their aggressive litigation tactics were featured in Texas Lawyer and The Dallas Morning News.
