One day before voters decide on Nov. 4 whether Rep. Ron Reynolds, D-Missouri City, gets to keep representing their district in the Texas Legislature, Reynolds is due in court to defend himself against third-degree felony barratry charges.

The trial in Texas v. Reynolds is scheduled to begin in Montgomery County’s 221st District Court on Nov. 3. As both sides prepare, court documents provide a window into the evidence they might present and the witnesses who might testify.
