Willkie Farr & Gallagher opened an office in Houston on Tuesday, the New York City-based firm’s first new domestic office in more than 30 years.

The lawyers opening the office are partners Bruce Herzog, a Willkie corporate partner in New York City who has been spending much of his time working in Houston; Michael Piazza, who was a partner in Bracewell & Giuliani, and Angela Olivarez, who was a partner in Jones Day.
