New court filings show the legal arguments that will play out on Thursday at the first pretrial hearing that Gov. Rick Perry must attend in his felony case.

Senior Judge Bert Richardson will hear arguments on whether District Attorney Pro Tem Michael McCrum improperly filed the paperwork to become prosecutor, and whether Richardson should order McCrum to produce a grand jury transcript for in camera review. McCrum opposes both matters.
