The pace of claims filed has slowed in the hip replacement device multidistrict litigation in Dallas federal court since a jury in the first bellwether trial one year ago issued a take-nothing verdict for defendants Depuy Orthopedics Inc., a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson.
