Four attorneys and a law firm have denied all of the allegations by a woman who claimed she lost her case because they filed her lawsuit four days after limitations expired.

Plaintiff Lou Anne Perkins of Denton County claimed that she hired Walker Bright but that four lawyers at the firm relied on the wrong statute in calculating the statute of limitations for her claim. In the end, a court threw out her lawsuit after the underlying defendant argued that the statute of limitations had expired.
