The city of Denton, defending its fracking ban against two lawsuits, will likely reach a conclusion in at least one of them by spring. That’s the prediction of both Terry D. Morgan of Terry D. Morgan & Associates in Dallas, who represents Denton, and Bill Kroger, a partner in Baker Botts, who represents the Texas Oil & Gas Association in one of the lawsuits against Denton.

Kroger said he has engaged in scheduling talks with Morgan, which will lead “things to move along quickly.”
