A Florida optical company claims that three Texas law firms committed professional malpractice by filing a key document in Texas instead of Delaware, which eventually cost the company more than $1 million. All three firms deny the allegations.

Plaintiffs Sight’s My Line and Stewart Lantz sued Austin-based firms Riggs, Aleshire & Ray and Blazier, Christensen, Bigelow & Virr, and Harlingen-based Adams & Graham. The dispute involves business transactions, a defaulted promissory note and a bankruptcy.
