Just before New Year’s, a Bexar County grand jury indicted former attorney Paul Andrews for solicitation of capital murder.
The charge stems from Andrews’ alleged plot to hire a hit man to kill Mary Ann Uribe, a woman who previously sued Andrews for civil barratry. She also filed the police report that led to Andrews’ earlier felony indictment for criminal barratry. Uribe is a witness in the barratry case.
