New Bexar County Criminal District Attorney Nico LaHood is looking to hire 13 new prosecutors, mostly for his criminal trial division.

“They will be supervisory attorney positions, to primarily work with some of our younger misdemeanor prosecutors to ensure they’re getting proper training, mentoring and supervising,” said Woodrow Halstead, LaHood’s first assistant D.A. He said the D.A.’s office wants to reorganize to more efficiently and quickly dispose of cases.
