John Judge said he’s disappointed that his clients, two former administrative law judges, recovered so little in a settlement of their age and gender discrimination lawsuit.
In the Final Mutual Release and Settlement Agreement of the suit, Birch v. Texas State Office of Administrative Hearings, the defendant agreed to pay $50,000 to Carol Birch, Carol Wood and their attorney. Of that amount, Birch received $12,864; Wood received $13,637; and Judge, Kostura & Putman received $23,226.
