Less than one year after an appellate court tossed two colleagues from their lawsuit, the two former administrative law judges who were left suing the Texas State Office of Administrative Hearings have entered a settlement and dismissed their age and gender discrimination claims.

After negotiating for a settlement totaling $50,000—half the money was for their lawyer—former judges Carol Birch and Carol Wood moved to dismiss their lawsuit with prejudice.
