Former district judge Angus McGinty denied all of the allegations in a lawsuit that he committed professional misconduct by breaking a disciplinary rule that prohibits committing a “serious crime.”

McGinty, who resigned from Bexar County’s 144th District Court in February 2014, is also defending himself in a federal criminal case that alleged that he took bribes in the form of car repairs from a criminal defense attorney in exchange for favorable judicial rulings for clients.
