Driver recovers for alleged shoulder and back injuries

On Oct. 29, 2014, a driver who claimed a shoulder tear and other injuries in a collision was awarded $20,783. John R. Fletcher was broadsided by an uninsured motorist who allegedly ran a red light. Fletcher claimed a full-substance tear of the supraspinatus tendon; postural alterations and reduction in flexion and extension in the cervical spine; postural alterations in the thoracic and lumbar spine; mild spondylosis at L5; and a 3- to 4-millimeter impression at L5-S1.
