As West Texas Intermediate Crude—the benchmark of U.S. oil—continues to trade at less than half its price from last summer, many lawyers are wondering what effect this decline will have on the Texas legal profession. Texas Lawyer asked Tim Shelby, a successful litigator and partner with AZA, to share his views about whether cheap oil will spawn more Lone Star litigation.
