The state plans to prove that former Gov. Rick Perry didn’t approve of the management of the Travis County District Attorney Office’s public integrity unit, and Perry wanted to obstruct its operations.

The revelation comes in a new filing in which District Attorney Pro Tem Michael McCrum responded to a court order that suggested he provide more details of Perry’s charges and change the wording in the indictment for one charge.
