It’s a sign of the times that Cal Dive International Inc. is one of the latest casualties of collapsing crude prices.

On March 3, the Houston-based company and its five U.S. subsidiaries—Cal Dive Offshore Contractors, Affiliated Marine Contractors., Fleet Pipeline Services, CDI Renewables and Gulf Offshore Construction Inc.—filed voluntary Chapter 11 petitions in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the District of Delaware, according to the court’s website.
