Propelled by energy work and a strong Texas economy, 2014 was a very good year financially for most of the 25 highest-grossing firms in Texas.
Gross revenue at 20 of the 25 firms improved in 2014, compared with 2013. Taken as a whole, the 25 firms brought in gross revenue totaling $5.3 billion in 2014, up 6 percent when compared with $5 billion in 2013.
