Frank Stevenson will become the next president-elect of the State Bar of Texas after winning 55 percent of the vote in the race against opponent Randy Howry.

“I’m really humbled. I know a number of the people that have held this position, and I have limitless admiration for them. I so admire and am so impressed with what the state bar does. I’m so eager to get started to see if I can help the state bar do even more,” said Stevenson, who was the 2012-2013 chairman of the bar’s board of directors.
