As oil prices continue their dip below recent highs in mid-2014, Houston-based ERG Intermediate Holdings and its affiliates—including ERG Resources—recently joined the ranks of other Texas energy companies seeking protection through Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
ERG Intermediate and its affiliates filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division. The parent company and its affiliates’ cases have been assigned to Bankruptcy Judge Harlan D. Hale.
