June 1, the final day of the 84th Texas Legislature, is a desert oasis for weary lawmakers and staffers who pulled all-nighters, fighting for bills to pass in the last days of the 2015 session.
Lawmakers passed many bills that affect the justice system, lawyers and judges. As of Texas Lawyer’s press time, House and Senate conference committees were still working on some bills.
