The Travis County Attorney’s Office recently filed formal charges against an Austin lawyer who was charged with prostitution last year in a sex sting.
The case began in June 2014, when Judson Sutherland allegedly responded to an online sex ad, unwittingly talked on the phone with an undercover officer and made an agreement to pay $60 for sex. He then allegedly traveled to a hotel room and again made the $60-for-sex agreement, said the arrest warrant affidavit in Texas v. Sutherland, filed in a Travis County court-at-law.
