Seeking another bite at the apple with the Texas Supreme Court after its recent loss, Kachina Pipeline Co. recently filed a motion for rehearing in the case Kachina Pipeline v. Lillis.

On June 12, 2015, in a 6-3 decision, the Texas Supreme Court affirmed the Court of Appeals’ judgment in the case. This latest development follows in the wake of a long legal battle between Kachina Pipeline and Michael Lillis, a natural gas producer, that was spawned by a business deal gone wrong.
