Baker Botts has picked up three lateral partner hires for its Hong Kong and Beijing offices.
Michael Arruda joined Baker Botts’ eight-lawyer Hong Kong office on Sept. 1, and Joanne Du and Phillip Georgiou made the move in late August. All three came from Jones Day’s Hong Kong office. Du will split her time between Baker Botts’ Hong Kong and Beijing offices, and Arruda and Georgiou will also at times work in Beijing, according to the firm.
