Disgraced San Antonio attorney Alberto Acevedo Jr., who pleaded guilty and was convicted of bribing a judge for favorable rulings, has resigned his law license rather than face attorney discipline.
The Texas Supreme Court on Aug. 28 accepted Acevedo’s motion to resign in lieu of discipline.
