Texas gas pipelines have long been the energy lifelines for the delivery of natural gas to consumers, businesses and industries statewide. Now new breakthroughs in hydraulic fracturing have greatly boosted the production of natural gas and oil in several key areas of Texas.
In light of the increase in natural gas production, it’s not surprising that a Kinder Morgan pipeline division, Natural Gas Pipeline Co. of America (NGPL), recently agreed to partner with a Cheniere Energy Inc. affiliate, Corpus Christi Liquefaction, to move natural gas to the Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project in south Texas.
