Jarrett Ellzey has never found a win similar to the rare one that he and his partner Craft Hughes secured for their clients in Sherman federal court on Sept. 14.

Based on the jury verdict, U.S. District Judge Amos Mazzant issued a $175,000 judgment in the case Geoffrion v. Nationstar Mortgage, an award that included $151,000 in damages for mental anguish, against a mortgage lending company.
