Jack Cleaveland, chairman of the management committee at Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons, said it won’t be very long before his Dallas-based firm reaches numerical parity between women and men lawyers.

“Over half of our associates are women. It’s just a matter of time as we continue to hire more women,” said Cleaveland, where 37 percent of the lawyers in the firm were women as of July 1.
