In a dispute about a six-passenger golf cart, a Dallas federal judge granted in part a Florida couple’s motion for sanctions due to spoliation against Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.

In her sanctions order, U.S. District Judge Barbara M.G. Lynn of the Northern District of Texas in Dallas ruled that, by Oct. 16, Rosewood must either return a re-purposed golf cart to its original configuration, or purchase a new golf cart with substantially the same dimensions as the one used in an incident during which the couple alleges the wife sustained multiple injuries.
