With the continuing collapse of oil and gas prices, an increasing number of energy companies are seeking financial breathing room through bankruptcy. Monica Blacker, an experienced bankruptcy attorney and partner with the Dallas firm of Jackson Walker, has worked with a number of O&G companies in the attempt to restructure their debt to avoid bankruptcy. She has also represented O&G companies in Chapter 11 proceedings, and banks and creditors in connection with recovering amounts owed to them in O&G cases.
