Scott Lannie won a more than a $10,000 final judgment for his client Michael LeJune in a pothole lawsuit against the Texas Department of Transportation.

In a final judgment, 151st District Court Judge Mike Engelhart in Houston ordered the state agency to pay LeJune, who alleged that a pre-existing condition in his shoulder was exacerbated when his vehicle hit a hole on the shoulder of the road. In his petition, LeJune alleged that while traveling eastbound on Interstate 10, he had to move to the shoulder to yield to an emergency vehicle and ran over an excavated portion of the shoulder.
