Federal prosecutors unsealed a criminal indictment against Mikal Watts, the San Antonio plaintiffs lawyer.
Prosecutors filed the indictment in Mississippi federal court based on allegations that Watts knowingly stole the identities of people by claiming that he represented them in civil litigation against BP Exploration & Production in their civil claims related to the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
