Following the dismissal by a federal judge in Sherman of a civil rights suit against Collin County Court at Law Judge Barnett Walker, Nathan Burgess, the plaintiff, has filed a motion for reconsideration.
In his initial complaint, Burgess alleged that Walker violated his protections under the Fourth and Fourteenth amendments when he detained him for two hours after he asked for a copy of a court transcript.
