In a final judgment, U.S. District Judge Amos Mazzant of the Eastern District of Texas in Sherman awarded $218,900 in damages and $1.193 million in attorney fees this month to Baylor Frisco Medical Center. Mazzant based his ruling on the hospital’s summary judgment motion, prepared by its lawyers from Norton Rose Fulbright.

The defendants in the litigation were Cynthia Bledsoe, a registered nurse who previously served as chief operating officer for Baylor Frisco, and Michael Bledsoe, who previously served as an information systems administrator for the hospital.
