David Gerger, a white-collar crime defense attorney in Houston, is raising money for charity by selling an album of songs he wrote and recorded with his daughter Ria, a student at Middlebury College in Vermont.
“Give Me Mercy,” by Ria & David, features songs that Gerger wrote about Houston, clients, justice and his family. The proceeds of sales of the music benefit the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, Alabama, and Texas Special Olympics, he said.
