An East Texas woman who had surgery to remove an IUD that went astray in her body seeks more than $500,000 from Beaumont firm Weller, Green, Toups & Terrell and partner B. Adam Terrell. She alleges they mishandled her medical malpractice claim and missed a filing deadline in her product liability lawsuit, which left her with nothing.

“To add insult to injury,” plaintiff Rachael Coe alleges, the defendants attempted to “conceal their wrongdoing” by misrepresenting facts designed to lead her to believe her claims were ongoing even after her lawsuit had been dismissed.
