Lawyers generally love seeing their work glorified on the big screen. So it should come as no surprise that lawyers at the nonprofit Plano-based First Liberty Institute, whose advocacy focuses on securing religious freedom for clients, expressed enthusiasm for the movie “God’s Not Dead 2,” opening nationwide April 1.

The movie is a sequel to the 2014 “God’s Not Dead.” It tells the story of a fictional Christian teacher who comes under fire for mentioning Jesus in her classroom.
