Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law boosted its offerings in several hot areas of law with the addition of four new professors who start this fall. The professors focus on constitutional law, LGBT rights, energy regulation, voting rights and gender and the law.
“We chose these four professors because each one of them is truly an outstanding scholar and a teacher. All received accolades by their previous students, as not only knowledgeable ‘rock stars’ in their field, but engaging, intellectually stimulating and approachable,” wrote SMU Dedman Law Dean Jennifer Collins in an email. “We feel they will increase the breadth and depth of course offerings in our already incredibly rich and varied curriculum, enhance the school’s national reputation, and offer students an outstanding classroom experience.”
