This fall, lawyers might have to update their State Bar of Texas profiles to add an email address for the state to use for e-filing and electronic service.
The state bar board of directors on Friday approved a change to the state bar rules that would require attorneys to designate a primary email address and a registered email address—a lawyer could use two different addresses, if she wished.
