When the U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments for Texas and 25 other states in opposition to the Obama administration’s proposed immigration reforms, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sat in the audience, along with his counterparts from Nebraska, Oklahoma and Indiana.
But Paxton was the only one among those state attorney generals present at the high court hearing on April 18, who has the dubious distinction of presently facing both criminal charges of securities fraud and civil lawsuit by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
