Three Texas counties think the Texas Office of the Attorney General got the law wrong on the legality of courthouse handgun bans, and they might file lawsuits to ask judges to decide if they can keep guns out of entire courthouses.
The commissioners courts in Dallas, Brazos and McLennan counties all voted in mid-April to authorize their lawyers to take steps toward legal action to defend their courthouse gun bans.
