Andrews Kurth and a former client have settled a legal malpractice lawsuit that resulted in a jury verdict against the Houston-based firm totaling nearly $200 million in damages and attorney fees.
Terms of the pre-judgment settlement are confidential, according to Murray Fogler, a lawyer for Andrews Kurth, and Philip Werner, who represents plaintiff Scott Martin and his company.
