After she missed several planned public meetings, Dallas County District Attorney Susan Hawk announced she is seeking additional treatment for her mental illness.
Hawk successfully fought off a petition seeking to remove her from office in January, months after she left her post as DA to seek treatment after suffering an episode of severe depression. Hawk later publicly discussed her struggles with mental illness, which drove her to consider taking her own life.
