Baylor University President Ken Starr, who is best known as the special prosecutor for investigating former President Bill Clinton’s affair with an intern, has reportedly been dismissed from his post by the school’s Board of Regents—a move that shocked many prominent alumni of the school.

Starr, who has served as the Baptist university’s president since 2010, was let go by the school’s governing board May 24, according to Scout’s HornsDigest.com. Baylor has come under heavy criticism under Starr’s watch as the university’s football program has flourished while the school allegedly failed to respond to the sexual assaults of at least six women. Several Baylor football players have been accused of the assaults.
